Dear David Moses,
I have listened to your show moment of truth and noticed you have interviewed some people who are mixed race and have said that they have doubt with other Indigenous people who have said to them “How Native are you?”
As someone who is Mi’kmaq Indigenous and Indo Celtic Irish, I feel like I can relate to those guest on your show who have identified having these experiences because I deal with some many white people who are racist against Indigenous people, but then when I go into the Indigenous community, I have doubt with some other Indigenous people either assuming I don’t have Indigenous heritage to Turtle Island or know I’m part Indigenous to Turtle Island, but don’t want to accept me because I’m only part Indigenous to Turtle Island.
