Let Celebrities Do Story Time for You Online

Has your kid asked you to read Hungry Caterpillar for the one-millionth time? Mine has! And while I love how much time we spend reading (and re-reading) books together, the new spate of celebs reading to kids online is a welcome break in our house.

The incomparable Dolly Parton delivers adorable weekly “Goodnight With Dolly” already in her pjs and in bed (but still looking fabulous as only Dolly can). Every Thursday on YouTube.

Butterfly in the skyyyyyyyyy! I can go twice as hiiiiiiiiiigh! If you lived through the 80s, that song is stuck in your head now, too. Mr. Reading Rainbow himself, Levar Burton, reads stories on Mondays 12pm ET for children, Wednesdays 6pm for YA, and Fridays  9pm for adults on Twitter.

Pals Amy and Jennifer have started a new initiative called Save With Stories in which folks like Kate Winslet, Leona Lewis, Terry Crews, Lin Manuel Miranda, Tracee Lee Ross, and a lot more, read kid’s stories on Instagram! Follow @savewithstories for the fun.
