More Companies Announce Diversity Initiatives

At least two more companies have announced they will focus on inclusive hiring and diversity initiatives.

Manulife and John Hancock have announced a two-year, 3.5 million dollar plan focusing on employment opportunities, training and community support for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities.

The Crown corporation says 50 per cent of new hires will be from underrepresented identities.
