Salsa and Chips is an all time summer favourite for me, but I like trying to skip out on the store bought jars and making my own! It’s super easy and you won’t feel as bad when you polish off the entirety of the container.
1/2 cup of Cilantro
2 small to medium Jalapeños (the more the seeds, the spicer it will be – keep or remove the seeds as you wish)
1 Can of Dice Tomatoes (28 ounce)
3 garlic cloves
2/3 of White Onion
1/4 of Green Onion
2 juiced limes (squeeze as much juice out of the lime as possible)
Approx. 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper (eye ball and taste test this one to your preference)
I threw all the ingredients into a blender once they were all cut up and ready then I pulsated everything on high for 2 minutes.
Give it a little taste test! Add more of anything where you see fit because this is your salsa recipe now. This gives you a healthy amount of salsa, but don’t surprised when it goes quickly because of how great it tastes. I will always bring this as a party favour because it goes instantly! Enjoy.
