Yes there are ghosts in Toronto!
The Royal Alexandra Theatre on King St. West in Toronto is the oldest theatre in the city. It opened back in 1907 and in 1962, Ed Mirvish purchased the theatre and saved it from demolition. The so-called “Royal Alex” is the oldest continuously-operating, legitimate theatre in North America.
Two ghosts have long been rumoured to haunt The Royal Alex, and just in time for Halloween Mirvish has sent us some videos of sightings:
