“We have never been a loud people. Our elders always taught us that actions speak louder than words…”

A new video co-produced by Lainey Liu and Melissa Grelo (you may know them as co-hosts of The Social) for The Chinese Canadian National Council for Social Justice brings a powerful poem to life.

This #AsianHeritageMonth,  arthe CCNCSJ is calling on allies “to confront the historical and present injustices facing our communities, and #FaceRace.”

The video salutes Asian Canadians who have not stayed silent, who have called out injustices, and who call on all of us to confront racism.
