The Olympics have come to an end and Canada has not disappointed! Canada had a record-setting Olympic Games with 24 medals won in Tokyo. It is the most medals Canadians have won in the summer games, and the amount of gold medals tied the amount earned at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. New records were set with Penny Oleksiak becoming Canada’s most decorated athlete to Andre De Grasse becoming the world’s fastest man. Canada should be so proud as these athletes have set milestones in Tokyo 2020, and what makes it more memorable is that they were able to achieve greatness after the Olympics were postponed an entire year. Let’s have a run through of all Canada’s medalists!
