Fan Expo makes its big return to Toronto this month. The festival promises a celebration of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming, but it’s going to look a little bit different.

The three day event will have capacity limits in effect and a new method for meeting your favourite celebs. Each special guest will be given the option to have a plexiglass barrier between themselves and fans during meet-and-greets and photos. Whether the celebrity choose to have one or not, any fan who opts to get a photo taken with them will need to stand a safe distance apart. So, hugging or posing close with your favourite character is off the table.

While many celebrities have cancelled leading up to the event, the Trailer Park Boys, Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Supergirl villain, Silver Banshee, are among some of the visiting characters. Beyond that, you can attend panels, check out the family zone and meet behind-the-scenes powerhouse comic creators and voice actors.
