A new study from Numbeo looked at quality of life in cities across Canada, considering things like cost of living, safety and property price to income ratio.
Victoria snagged the top spot with an impressive high score in the climate and cost of living indexes. Calgary, Quebec City, Ottawa and Vancouver rounded out the top 5.
So where did the big city land? Toronto was just shy of the top 10, ranking in at number 11. Toronto scored well in cost of living and healthcare but fell short in climate and safety.
That doesn’t rule out the GTA, though. Residents of Mississauga will be pleased to hear their city ranked eighth. Meanwhile, Hamilton rounded out the list of fourteen cities.
