Nature is healing! For the first time since 2019, visitors from all over will be able to come to the Greater Toronto Area to view the cherry blossom trees.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people looking for some beautiful scenery or some selfie opportunities were forced to visit the cherry blossom trees virtually over the past two years. However, that didn’t discourage people, as the City of Toronto estimates that over 125,000 people visited the trees virtually last year.
For those that are still interested in viewing the cherry blossom trees virtually, virtual visits will still be available. However, all 15 locations will be open for public viewings if you’re looking for the perfect photo-op.
Peak bloom is expected to last from late April to early May, with the City of Toronto estimating that people will have somewhere between four and ten days to get out and enjoy the trees, weather permitting.
