According to Deadline, Mohawk actor Devery Jacobs has joined the cast of Marvel Studios‘ Echo. Little is known about her role, but she is expected to be one of the leads.

Marvel Studios‘ Echo stars Menominee-Mohican actor Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, a deaf Native American superhero with the ability to copy her opponents’ fighting styles. Cox first played the role in Marvel Studios‘ Hawkeye, which premiered on Disney+ in November 2021.

Jacobs can currently be seen in FX‘s Reservation Dogs, which is streaming in Canada on Disney+ and is currently in production on its second season.

While there is currently no set date for Marvel Studios‘ Echo, it is expected to premiere on Disney+ some time in 2023.
