Several months ago, we made the exciting announcement that you could now listen to
106.5 Elmnt fm on through
Alexa. However, some people might have to take some steps to take full advantage of this feature.
Alexa-enabled apps and smart speakers sometimes require you to add new
skills in order to have them perform a variety of tasks, including sometimes listening to your favourite radio stations. Here are three ways to add us to your
Alexa-enabled products:
From your computer
If you want to add new skills to
Alexa from your
computer, here’s what you have to do:
- Sign in to your Amazon account, and head over to the Alexa skills page
- Use the search bar to look for skills to add. If you’re looking to play 106.5 Elmnt fm, search for the skill “elmntfm 106.5“
- Click the skill you want to add, and then click the Enable button on the next page
From your mobile device
If you want to add new
skills to
Alexa from your
mobile device, here’s what you have to do:
- Open the Alexa app on your mobile device, and tap the menu icon in the top-left corner
- Select “Skills & Games” from the menu
- Tap the search icon to search for skills. If you’re looking to play 106.5 Elmnt fm, search for the skill “elmntfm 106.5“
- Select any skills you want to add, and then tap “Enable To Use”
From Your Amazon Echo
If you want to add new
skills to
Alexa directly from your
Amazon Echo, here’s what you have to do:
- Make sure you’re within listening range of your Amazon Echo, and say “Alexa, enable elmntfm 106.5“
