6th Annual Indigenous Legacy Gathering

Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre will be hosting the 6th annual Indigenous Legacy Gathering at Nathan Phillips Square on September 29 & 30. The event will kick off at 7 a.m. with a lighting of the fire ceremony, everyone is welcome to participate and pray.  This event honours the diversity of all indigenous cultures on Turtle Island (Canada, America and South America).  

Aztec Dancers perform traditional Indigenous dances from Mexico. Their
dances honour the 4 sacred elements; water, earth, air, and fire.

For The Community

The Legacy Gathering will be an enlightening educational experience. There will be stories, teachings, and vibrant traditional practices shared by Indigenous people are shared through workshops, presentations, dance, film, and music. Official Program Book
