The Toronto International Festival of Authors is hosting an Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada event. This Educational event will take place at the Harbour Front Centre on September 30 at 10:30 am – 6 pm  

The TIFA has created this creative and educational event as a way to give children a sense of place when discussing indigenous peoples and history. The main feature is the large vibrant and colorful Floor Map that spans approximately 84 feet long by 50 feet wide. This map shows the locations of Indigenous communities, residential schools, reserves and much more.
