Director and Writer Eva Thomas shares the important history of “Starlight Tours” through her Short film “RedLights” which will play at Canadian Film Fest.

The film follows two Indigenous women, fighting for their life and the lengths they are willing to go to survive.

Thomas says that it’s a piece of Canada’s history that is not well known and that she is glad she can educate people through her film.

” there was an education component that came out of the making of the short film, that I didn’t expect, but at the same time, allows me as an Indigenous person, to bring light to really important social issues”

RCMP was contacted for a response about Starlight Tours but has not responded.
