SDNR is proud to host their Second Annual Toronto Indigenous Fashion Week February 6th – 9th, 2019
This celebration will honour and address “Truth” “Reconciliation” and “Everyday Indigeneity” on February 6th during an interactive conference discussion where Indigenous Artists, academia, government bodies, and various stakeholders will gather to talk openly about the importance of healing and reconciling.
Various Workshops will be held on February 7th including Dress Making, Beading, Drumming Circles, Metis dancing, and various other Cultural activities.
The Indigenous Marketplace and Runway show will be held on February 8th at Artscape – Daniel Spectrum Way 585 Dundas Street East, Toronto, ON (Please call 416- 238 – 2453 if you have questions about the location)
The Final Pow-wow, Marketplace, and Grand Feast will be held on February 9th. The Marketplace will open at 10:00am, the Pow-wow will kick off at 12:00 noon, and the Final Grand Feast shall begin at 5:00pm.
Please note, all funding raised from this event will be used to help build housing for a remote Indigenous community (TBD)
